About me
Hi there! My name is Anne-Sophie! (ANNE - SO-FEE) and I am Congolese-American actor, singer and dancer from Raleigh, North Carolina. Growing up I like to think my love for the arts started from my mother dancing with me in her arms and really sprouted when I started singing in church. I soon joined Barriskil Dance School and Theatre where I took every class under the sun and was exposed to musical theatre. At first, classes scared me but they quickly became fun and thus theatre turned into a way to share my joy and remind myself of the light in life. The moment I knew I wanted to pursue theatre never came from a show or Broadway but came from a dear teacher who encouraged me to pursue serious training in what had started as just a fun outlet for me. Without her and many other teachers/encouragers I would have never heard of Elon University where I am graduating with a B.F.A. in Music Theatre and B.A. in Arts Administration! My journey with theatre has been so beautiful and inspiring and I can’t wait to see where God takes me next!
